Jimesha Owens, CEO
I always dreamed about creating something that was bigger than me. This isn't just a business, this is my PURPOSE. I know exactly how it feels to be alone. I experienced homelessness for five years. Working minimum wage jobs, sleeping in my car, showering at the gym, spending hundreds of dollars on hotel rooms. There were nights I couldn't even afford to keep a roof over my head. No family I could run to! I was broken and felt defeated! Many sleepless nights and a million thoughts running through my head. Somehow, I knew it wasn't the end of my journey! I relied heavily on faith, remained disciplined, and I believed in myself to overcome obstactles! My personal experience is what inspired me to start an affordable housing program,
Evergreen Blossoms Independent Living Homes.
